Our General Assembly is this summer in Orlando, Florida and people will be coming from all over the world to be there. You would think that Florida in the summer would be plenty warm, but our Nazarenes from hot countries are not used to the air conditioning that we Americans can't live without and are very uncomfortable. The denomonation is putting out a call to all the churches to help them out by sending shawls for them. Most are here at great sacrifice and come with the bare necessities. The shawls can be sewn, knitted or crocheted or made of fleece. I found fleece for $1.oo per yard on clearance at Walmart and I think we could make two per yard. I got all they had at the Bashford store, but some of the others may still have some. Anyone who wants to purchase some, please do so! I would like for us to get together on Thursday the 28th or Friday the 29th to cut them. Is there anyone who would like to help and which day is the best?
